Describe a photograph

I am describing a photo taken by Sally Mann.  the name of the photograph i have chosen is Immediate Family.  This photo is of her daughter popping her head out of the water and her hair is floating on the surface.  This is one of my favorite photos, it is creepy yet beautiful at the same time. The lighting in this image is focused on a specific part of the photograph so that it brings the eyes of the viewer strait to the subject.  There is a shorter range of focus, the girls face is the only thing in this picture that is absolutely clear.  I love this photograph because it is different from other photos.
